WaterBase treatments are more concentrated and more effective than petroleum
solvent-based treatments. NIKWAX WaterBase formulations can deliver up to 2
times more active ingredients per ounce.
EFFECTIVENESS
The active ingredients are drawn along the same paths as water, targeting areas
of leakage and water absorption, depositing NIKWAX where it is needed most. The
patented NIKWAX TX-10 elastomer (active ingredient) adds a flexible
water-repellent coating that bonds to leather or fabric fibers. This makes
NIKWAX long-lasting—requiring less frequent application.
