2015 Oregon Motorcycle Rally Action

As summer approaches, it occurs to us, there are a lot of rallies going on in the Pacific Northwest.

With the recent addition of a new event in Pendleton, Oregon this July, it also occurs to us – There are a lot of motorcycle rallies going on in Oregon this summer. And there’s something for just about everyone

Chief Joseph Rally, John Day – June 19-21

Put on by the BMW Riders of Oregon, this rally attracts a lot of BMW riders of course. But others join in as well, who enjoy like-type motorcycles popular with the sport touring crowd. It’s always a good time, there is a collective of vendors and food is available both onsite and in town. Motels go quickly, so book one soon if you plan to go. Onsite camping is available. Hell’s Canyon Motorcycle Rally, Baker City – July 9-13

“If you can’t have fun here, give up” so goes the motto. Drawing primarily a cruiser crowd, you’ll find a bike show, vendors in town, live music, a beer garden and plenty of rides in the area. Pendleton Bike Week, Pendleton – July 22-26

This is the new kid on the block. In its first year look for a bike show, race competitions, live music, a beer garden, poker runs and more. Good news, there are many motels and hotels in Pendleton so you won’t have to scurry as much. More details are coming together at http://pendletonbikeweek.com

Rally in the Gorge, Hood River – August 26-30

A favorite with riders of sport, dual sport, adventure and sport touring bikes, the Rally in the Gorge brings together intermediate and seasoned riders looking to up their skills during five days filled with informative seminars, creative routes, lite hearted competitions, gear and food vendors and more. Pacific Northwest HOG Rally, Portland – August 27-30

The 2^nd annual PNWHOG Rally convenes in Stumptown at Portland International Raceway for four days of all things H-D including a bike show, the Cossacks, a Wine and Chocolate tour, games, live entertainment, beer garden and more.
